Well, I bought a new camera on a whim the other week, a Fujifilm S6500fd, which I adore. I can't justify the expense or technicality of a DSLR at the moment so a PDSLR (pseudo-digital SLR) is perfect for me. I have the manual control of an SLR, minus the interchangeable lenses, at the cost of a point-and-shoot. It looks and feels like a real one, even zooms in using the barrel, has manual focus and such, yet I don't feel I need to become a pro to justify its use. One day, who knows. For now, I'm finally satisfied.
